Monday evening Marvin Sapp was a guest on the “Monique Show.” During the interview, She asked him questions regarding holiness and the way Christians govern their lives according to the Word of God. His responses were very flaky and non biblical. As a preacher of the Gospel, Marvin did not back up any of his answers with scripture while finding laughter in Monique’s profanity and vain philosphies right in his face and not rebuking any of it. Why would Monique become so COMFORTABLE cussing and uttering vain babblings and murmmurings in front of a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

For the sake of those who did not see the interview, Monique asked him how he felt about cussing. Instead of seizing the opportunity to minister and guide her in the right direction while setting the record straight his response was, “You just gotta be you”. Wow! People of God do you know what that means? By him not taking a position it opens up the door for those such as Monique and other secular entertainers to invade the church with foolishness. She also asked him a question regarding the times when he has had to “rebuke” his congregation. She repeatedly referred to times of rebuke to “getting in that a@# while Marvin sat back in laughter over the remarks. Folks the harvest is plenty but the labourers are few. We are praying for Monique that God will send her a real man of God that will stand up and really minister to her so that she may be delivered, set free, healed and restored. Now Marvin has made it even more condusive for the world to mock the church. Watch and pray saints! The Wolves are Out! I was in tears when I saw this show on BET.
I could not believe my eyes or ears. He even slighted his fellow preacher that was with him during her radio show for “not being used to cussing” because he kept saying “the blood of jesus” each time she would cuss. So she was matter of fact. She blasphemed holiness, the bible, the apostles in the bible, Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, she even told folks how to channel their inner beings, and all this “N——-” could do was SING!
This shows what we have been preaching for years. The devil has not changed. It’s always about the money! How dare he!!! I can’t even blame Monique. But I do wonder what is going on behind the scenes for this woman to be that comfortable cussing and blaspheming in front of a preacher of the Gospel. When she asked him about his call to the ministry, he said “when i was 10 I just decided……” The key to that phrase is the word “I”, because that’s what this is all about. “I”

This is utterly a shame! I’m not however; surprise with Monique for she acts like a silly woman. I thank God for using the world to show his people, those that operate of the darkness. (GOD) that he would use our enemy to bless us. When Monique, had Marvin on there and he deny to stand for Christ, he was no different then Peter. Monique interviewing him, allowed me to see that Marvin Sapp is not willing to stand for the Lord, therefore; I will not be standing and supporting Marvin Sapp any further. I promise you, these false christians are being revealed and God wants those that desire to walk right and truly have a heart to reach the lost to seperate ourselves from them. Yet we must continue to pray for those that are lost, that they may repent and turn from their wicked ways.

I couldnt finish watching the video. But I confess the other day I was witnessing about a church doctrine on the internet and someone called me a “dumb _____”, My response was basically, “since the term “_____” is in the bible, I would rather you be called a “smart _____” because I certainly am not dumb especially in defending Sola Scriptura. I was also trying to let the person know they were not going to verbally intimidate me from telling the truth thru scripture alone. After watching this video, my concious is telling me I probably should not have even responded at all. I did ask Jesus’ forgiveness. BET is all about 2 things Gospel and then Secular music so it can get alot of viewers really it upsets me to see this and to see a man of God on a secular show not even mention scripture, that really throws me off and the One part in his interview were he says “people know im luke warm not hot or cold” luke warm is not going to get you to heaven that’s (carnal christian) speaking either your hot and in hell or cold and chillin in heaven and that’s all I have to say about that
Sacori said that in one part of the interview Marvin Sapp says, “people know I’m lukewarm not hot or cold”. I just watched the interview and he does not say that. What he said was “I tell people all the time ain’t no lukewarm in me I’m either hot or cold”….Monique is a comedienne BUT that does not excuse the level of disrespect she displayed for God and Marvin Sapp. He did mention that he was on her radio show and seeing as how he knew what to expect from her, I feel he should have turned down doing the show or not laugh at her disrespect and kept it real according to scripture, not ratings.

I find Monique’s lack of respect for the Holy Trinity to be very disturbing. Why mock God? Why call Him out of His name? I have tried to watch the show previously but could not keep myself from changing the channel because her personality is too much. She looses me with her extra loud talking and over zealous behavior. But this particular episode left me feeling sick in my spirit. I cannot believe that this woman disrespected God like this. Marvin Sapp is weak and I noticed that something was not right about him when he was always on BET. BET is a station that should not be watched by Christian people and he was always at every awards shows and whatever ceremonies the station held. I don’t know which gospel artists to even listen to now. In my car I mostly listen to Christian news because it seems like no music is good anymore, i.e. gospel music. Everything is tainted in sin. It’s really sad.
I am so disappointed that one, he is on the show, two he should have set her straight with all that cussing and blasphemy. Why???? Lord please open his eyes before it is too late as well as deal with Monique for not understanding that you are Holy and Sovereign in Jesus Name. Amen
last night on her show, Mo’Nique told the Gays in the Black Church that “God loves you” after Mikki Howard told her that growing up in James Cleveland’s church they though being gay was normal.

I felt so sad and disappointed in him also, that he did not defend the Gospel…that he allowed her to refer to the Holy trinity as ‘cats’ and when she asked him about cussing and he told her to be her…man, I just don’t know what to say it was such an eye opener…Man all I can see is olk wanting notarierty and exalting themselves it’s disheartening…
I am so grieved…so grieved…so grieved by this show…The entire show was straight up blasphemous…nothing but a cussing nasty mess. Marvin Sapp is a disgrace to sit up there taking the chair from underneath the standard of holiness of what he was suppose to say….Of course he should not be up there at all and would not be allowed on the show if he said the truth of God…But to compromise so bad like this was ashame. He needs somebody to throw something at him and get some common sense in his head…I was angry to see this man look so foolish when it comes to the church in front of the world….It hurts so much to see this Oh, God. Mr. Sapp is clearly in this for fame and fortune. It’s just a matter of time before he jumps ship and obtain an R&B contract. He is so caught up in the recognition that he’s getting, Satan is taking full advantage.
Monique is so Hollywood now that she’s probably an Oprah Church member. These people are so blind and arrogant they don’t respect anyone but themselves. Monique is as pompous and arrogant as they come, because she is now connected with some of the Hollywood elite.

You know what I just went off of everyone else’s comments before I even had the chance to see the interview. Well, my husband and I chose to view it last night. I think we only watched about five minutes before I burst into tears and told my husband that I cannot watch anymore of them BLASPHEMING the GOD that I serve. I couldnt take it. Mo’Nique referenced GOD the Father, Jesus Christ, and the HOLY SPIRIT as “them cats”. She used expletives in reference of him taking command in Mr Sapp’s church, and he AGREED with her. She said that she prayed to the LORD and HE told her that HE said the exact statement that she used that contained the expletives. And thats when we had to turn it off.
TRUE SAINTS of THE MOST HIGH GOD, please pray for both of their souls. I dont think that the power and the judgement that JESUS CHRIST can bring has really been inscribed in their hearts. We need more preachers who preach HEAVEN OR HELL. It seems that everyone is falling into the spirit of compromise. And I was even shocked when they were roling te camera across the audience and EVERYONE was laughing. I dont think that it affected anyone.
It also seemed as if Mo’Nique was preaching some 5% Nation stuff because she started off with talking about GOD in refernece to the TRINITY but ended up saying get to know Me, Myself, and I.
It was the most horrible thing that I ever saaw in my life. And to tell you the truth I cried my self to sleep.
We have to ask GOD to place the thiings on HIS heart, the burdens onto ours, so that we can always be reminded to ALWAYS look to HIM, and not stray. In part V, Pastor Craig talked about those who had been sexually abused as a child and who crave the approval of others on stage, the first few minutes that she was on stage proved exactly that…And to let you know,I watched it on the internet and it was my FIRST time even seeing the show…

I was apalled watching the Monique show. From her entry on stage to the disgusting interview with Marvin Sapp. First of all she was making a mockery of God by saying that she was “having a conversation with Him by her damn self.” In one breath she seemingly is honoring God, with the same breath she dishonors him with vain babblings and profanity. On to Marvin Sapp. My first question is “Why was he on her show in the firs place?” Why was he allowing her to rub all over him and hold him so intimately? Secondly, when she made the comment about “getting up in that A**, he should have corrected her right there on national t.v. It seems like he found it to be normal verbage, and laughed each time she made the comment. He didn’t change his countenance in dislike to the remark, his tone never changed, nor did he indicate to her that she disrespected his Apostalic authority. I do not blame her because she truly doesn’t know any better. I had gained a little respect for her because of her role in the movie “Precious”, but I have lost it since then. It is time for Christians to stop allowing the world to insult our God and His people. We must hold up for the blood stained banner, even if we have to walk off of some of these national t.v. shows to uphold our integrity in God. The day is gone when Christians need to be in the closet. The bible says that “The kingdoms of this world wil become the kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ, and He shall reign.” We don’t have to fear what man can do to us. Read the book, we win in the end! Stop laughing and start speaking up. Sound the alarm, cry loud and spare not. Monique is a worldly, carnal minded, loose lip, vulgar, woman of the world. She did only what was in her heart to do. She is no better than Jezebel. Wonder what preacher she will interview next and exploit? WAKE UP INTERCESSORS & WARRIORS. We have got to pray against these type of demonic forces that seek to pervert the Word of God and pollute the minds of the people.
I never thought I would see Monique up here, and a lady at my church that grew up with her said Monique was always a bully. The sad thing about a lot of these artist and entertainers, is that they are lost and seem to not even know it. I actually missed his interview, but like someone mentioned, he had no business on her show anyway. I believe, and I’m no prophet, but this year God is going to expose a lot of this “MESS”. And we who are true believers will have to take a stand. The truth sets us free. Think about it, some of this stuff about theses artist, entertainers, secret societys, masons etc. We may have never discoverd but God gave Elder Lewis the gift he gave him for those who has an ear to hear. I’m grateful! The bible tells us that if it were possible the very elect would be deceived, (God’s folks). So we have to watch as well as pray, as the bible has instructed us. It’s amazing the love God expresses toward those he love. We could be uniformed, BUT GOD, we could be lost, BUT GOD, we could be Hell bound, BUT GOD! He has given us everything we need and we have no excuse. Again I’m no prophet but watch God expose the fake and counterfeit in 2010. When Marvin Sapp was singing his song “Never Would have made it”, The “without you” he was referring to was the Supreme architect of the Universe ( Freemasonry). He is letting you know that is his master by his pose on the photograph, he points his finger to his temple. This is the sign of a mark master mason in the lodge. So it is not surprising that his answers were shallow and Mr. Sapp didn’t seem to mind Monique cursing in front of him. He had an agenda and that was to to represent himself not Jesus. He wasn’t about to quote scripture and take attention off of himself.
We use to sing this song in the church choir. I didn’t understand until recently that he never refer to the “without you” he was talking about. He never mention Jesus or anything. And it’s crazy this same song was song at a pastor’s anniversary by his son to him( the pastor)

I was sleep when my husband woke me up and told me that he was on the show. I heard her make the comment about how gets on his congregation. i couldn’t believe my ears. i immediately was upset. i told my husband to turn the tv. i couldnt believe he was on the Monique show. What for? she made a spectical of him. and she cussed to see his response and he said nothing. what a shame. what’s alarming is that he’s a pastor. what is his stand against foolishness. his appearance on her show suggest compromise. This is not the first time that Monique has made statements like this where Christians are concerned. A little over 4yrs ago I attended the Essence Musical Festival in Houston. Monique and Jonathan Slocumb were hosting, after Yolanda Adams finished singing, Monique came on stage and said,”Boy, that Yolanda Adams can sing, that is one singing b—-, and Jonathan Slocumb, the Christian comedian just stood there and yucked it up Monique. I was so appalled.

Monique has done some things on her show to make me question her, one minute she’s talking about the Lord, next she’s cussing and making fun of God. I was in tears for Monique. Yes she is country, loud, rude, and obviously hurting inside. But the thing that made me cry was the fact that the Gospel of Jesus that could have saved her soul was denied to her by a man that is suppose to be a preacher of it. He took the position of talent rather than anointing and that in my book is sad.

That is what I am saying. I was hurt for the fact that Monique did not get saved and witness to. She needs help and he did not preach to her and explain to her the word of God. Yeah it probably would have led into debate but so what, it is the truth of the Gospel that needs to preached and she would have had better understanding of the word and lived right. I did not give any of my opinions of Mr. Bryant nor did I refer to him as anything other than Mr. Bryant; I showed no disrespect. The pastor read it and approached me about it this past Sunday. He did not even speak first, but just asked me if I was going to the service this coming Friday. When I said no, he asked me this: “What, you don’t like his preaching?” I became extremely frustrated because I could hardly believe that he had just asked me that after I had given him profound info. about who Mr. Bryant really is along with references to all the sources I used. Come to find out, the pastor was only concerned about me going to this EVENT because he wants me to SING. I believe that’s all he believes me and my family are good for. I was so frustrated that I had to leave because I could not get myself back together to continue to praise and worship God in that place. I went home and talked to God and cried also because this pastor has known me since I was a baby in that ministry, but can only see me as a voice to background him and a body to make a choir box look fuller. I have done what God asked so I will shake the dust off and go forward. I have been encouraged already by the story of real persecution of the Church in India and you all at ExMinistries and I pray that these preachers will awake and repent before it’s too late. Be encouraged Pastor Lewis and all the other unshakable preachers of the Gospel of Christ!
Marvin Sapp did as he wilt! Never did care for the “Never would have made it” song. Too many worldly people were playing and singing it. Getting religion I suppose.
NO, NO, NOOO! Why was Pastor Sapp on Mo’Nique’s show in the first place?? And why didn’t his presence alone stop her from cursing around him?? Has the SPIRIT of the LORD left him?? I can go into a room of folks cursing their tails off and it stops. I have had folks apologize for cursing around me…and they don’t know me from Adam! I am NOBODY, but the SPIRIT of the LORD is within me and the devil cannot tolerate it. I and (my husband especially) love Pastor Sapp, but he seems to have lost his way for mammon. I am saddened by this and pray for his restoration.
I was on the fence about Marvin because his hit song doesn’t mention Christ at all. Knowing that I still purchased his CD and thought he was “okay” It just disappoints me to know that he refused to preach the gospel to Monique at that time. This is what gospel music has become now and its just sad
Truthfully, and i understand how some people are hurt by his compromising position, but when he came out with that album “never would have made it” I knew this dude was lukewarm. I don’t know what it was that i discerned but i knew something was up? And it’s probably because he along with the rest of the “FOLLYWOOD” gospel industry have no standard. I mean, he validated Steve Harvey along with Donnie on the celebration of gospel. I never liked Marvin sapp becasue he reminded me of a brother that battles with that same spirit of affectation that i know personally. But what makes me righteously angry, is the fact that when you don’t support him everyone thinks your hating. But now look! I was just telling my brother-in-law yesterday ( who’s choir was in the verison wireless competition) why my wife and i stand against these “CARN-I-VAL” preachers/singers. This is not a shock and just continues to confirm the prophetic on brother Craige. However, it still has the affect of being stabbed in the side and it just takes your breathe away. Amazing!

Not to join the propaganda if that’s what people think about this web site just to say that this is not new to christian artist’s not all but most who have caught a glimpse of hollywood and have become more comfortable in ego, than that unction that the word of God is talking about. I have seen also on this show from the cristian genre of music the group known as Trinity 5-7 they also were comfortable on that show also with Monique’s wild use of language and word’s anot to mention the attire that one of the group member’s were wearing show the total contrast of Holiness and modesty…I don’t know what to say because I also was perishing due to lack of knowlege also but thank the LORD for the accountibility that comes from this awsome website EX Ministries.
I agree with Elder Lewis, it pained me as well to expose Pastor Marvin Sapp like this, but it has to be done because no one is above the Word. Wow, does anyone know a gospel singer out here that is in it for God & not mammon? Seriously. On on top of all this, Yolanda Adams said on her radio show that Ellen Degeneres would make a great additon to American Idol. I am throughly disgusted. Come quickly Lord Jesus!!!
God has definitley been hiding some vessels of honor all for His glory. This circus that satan has orchestrated and decieved so many is so disheartening. There is at least one if not more that will stand up and sing for the truth and not bow down to the system of the world and compromise. I am one of them. There is only one Lord and His name is JESUS CHRIST the slain lamb of almighty God. He reigns supreme!!
Although this may be sad for some……..this really sickens me! G. Craige summed it up at the end of his comment. It sounds like their father the devil, because that’s who they serve, period. A couple of months back, a sister in Christ saw him at the airport (after & before he did a concert here in Georgia) and she asked me what my thoughts were about Marvin. I told her I believed he was gay. She agreed because she said he had a so-called man purse, and his buddy was carrying his luggage. He was all g’d up with a skull & bones on his shirt and a long gold chain cross around his neck. She said he was acting all effeminate. So, when I hear this type of stuff about these artists, I’m not at the least surprised. There has to be a separation between the goats and the sheeps. It’s just all coming to fruition. Thank God for those who will take a stand against this foolishness!
I did not see the show but, I am not surprised about this outcome because when preachers deviate from what the word says (let your yes be yes and your no be no) the power of God is not there, this reminds me of the Joel interview on Larry King,there was no root of truth in either of these “men of God” answers: stay in the light saints of God and be watchful.

Nicole, I agree with you when you stated, “Is it hard to tell God’s truth?” I have too seen several pastors get on TV and blow it and it makes me angry because they have been raised up before men as a spectacle of what the world views church to look like and the devil is laughing. They may as well get in “black face” because they really ARE the sell outs.
The REAL men and women of God would not even consider this price for fame and fortune. However, I have been visiting some of the smaller churches and NOW they are adopting the prosperity message. Excuse me, but I thought it was about the unsaved souls, not the MONEY!! SMH

I loved Pastor Marvin Sapp’s last album and I do believe that at one time he did want to really just sing of the will of God. But 2 summers ago I wacthed him Perform on BET Awards showing a montage of Obama and thus supporting the Doctrine od DEMONS and Devils ( some call it liberalism , health reform climate regulation,Socialism..NWO…I call it the Doctine of Demons and Devils)…Marvin Sapp wants to be a star now, and I read that in Ebony when he was featured… He posed with his wife, showed off his some and showed his things..Which, okay, good job, you’ve worked hard and made some scrilla…but now he doesn’t want to jeopardize that money flow…and he let the the Devil intimidate him…How stern and pleasing to God had it been for him to say “now Mo’Nique the word of God says that for every Idle word…we muct give an account..and when we come to the knowledge of Christ and accept him, we have to believe he can keep us from falling and present us faultless like the Word say..”…Look Mo’nique wouldn’t have started trippin’..WHY?!?!?! Becasue he’s a PASTOR, a Gospel singer…she would have expected it!! the devil tricked him and he FELL for it…Mo’Nique has sung high praises for Al Sharpton and I bet you she wouldn’t have NEVEr cursed in front of him…She (Satan) was just testing the waters…and he found that they were Luke Warm…and we know what that means…

I could not believe my eyes or ears. He even slighted his fellow preacher that was with him during her radio show for “not being used to cussing” because he kept saying “the blood of jesus” each time she would cuss. So she was matter of fact. She blasphemed holiness, the bible, the apostles in the bible, Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, she even told folks how to channel their inner beings, and all this “N——-” could do was SING!
This shows what we have been preaching for years. The devil has not changed. It’s always about the money! How dare he!!! I can’t even blame Monique. But I do wonder what is going on behind the scenes for this woman to be that comfortable cussing and blaspheming in front of a preacher of the Gospel. When she asked him about his call to the ministry, he said “when i was 10 I just decided……” The key to that phrase is the word “I”, because that’s what this is all about. “I”

Amen brother Craige, i always had doubts about Mr Marvin Sapp. On the song “Never should of made it” He never even mentioned God not even once in the song let alone the name of Jesus. He always says you, him, he etc.. and all he says is I never could of, I never should of, I’m stronger, I’m wiser,etc… It’s very clear who he is about. Himself and not the things of God, certainly not holliness as he clearly demonstrated on the Jezebel oh i mean the Monique show. When are we going to see a difference between the sacred and the profane. I rarely watch Christian TV anymore because most will start off ok, then off they go on to the heresy. I live in Virginia Beach and my wife and i just left yet another church because we dared to question the pastor about unbiblical teaching he was doing like making the congregation yell out “money come to me now” in Jesus name. Also he was teaching us to command Angels of God to bring us our blessing. I told him that was not in scripture and gave him some scriptures to proove my point, then asked him to show me where i could find his teaching in the word of God in case i missed something. He got angry and in so many words told us not to come back and said i was violating the “Spirit of love”. I told him the Spirit of love is the Spirit of TRUTH but he did not care. We now have bible studys at our home on a regular. i thank God for men of truth such as yourself. We will not compromise for any church or pastor. Come quikly Lord Jesus
Wow! I am not surprised because Pastor Lewis told us that many so called pastors are going to have to choose sides. It also makes me wonder why was he on her show in the first place? I do not watch her show or any of these talk shows anymore. Why is there no programming where true believers of Christ are inviting these non-belivers and question THEM about their livestyles and then bring them to Christ???
Even though I saw this coming, it’s still disappointing. He was a performer on the BET awards back in 2008. In his song “Never Would’ve Made It” I don’t even think he says Jesus or God or Lord. The song is FILLED with “you” and “he” and “him” What a BIG difference from the old Commissioned music.
I know, I heard an interview with Pastor Craige with one of the members of commissioned who mentioned that they had to exude holiness no matter what. I remember the days of pastors and leaders holding everyone submitted to his or her ministry accountable for their actions outside of the church. Furthermore, it was unheard of for a pastor to be on a “worldly” talk show. He would have been sat down back in the day for that foolishness and commit…..not in 2010!! I am glad the Lord is coming soon!!

My mom has that song on her phone. We got into an argument over the song and whether it is a song that truly glorifies the Lord (that IS our purpose, right?). My mom believed that Sapp was talking about God. My understanding, however, is that Sapp wrote this song when his father died–in dedication to him. If this is the case, it explains why we do not hear Jesus, God, or Lord. If this is the case, then it bothers me that this song would be used on Christian radio stations (to my understanding, it is used on some secular stations as well). If this is the case, then it bothers me that this song is used for profit. Saints, let’s PLEASE wake up and start fighting this foolishness!
