So let me get this straight: Tedd’s parents instill good values of what is right and wrong and he didn’t like that so he doesn’t want to state what is right and wrong? This so called gospel artist is basically saying that he does not always ascribe to scripture. This is why I quit listening to gospel artists a long time ago. How do I as an unsaved person trying to live right for the first time find that balance?

HI Taura, all we can do is have a close relationship with Jesus and He will guide you in your life. He will bring people into your life that will uplift you when you need it and He will also bring people into your life to help you grow to be a better Christian, they might try your patience but in the end it will be worth it. Fill your mind with scriptures, talk to God every day, that will balance you out.

I wish I would’ve seen this post before I went to this event!!! I am an upcoming songwriter, and I’m new to the music industry; I went to this event because I was told it was an after-party to the Stellar Awards Pre-Show. I was expecting to meet/see gospel artists, and to network when I arrived the event, but as soon as I got there it was pretty obvious that this was a “different type of party.” Although there were some gospel artists there, there were also homosexuals EVERYWHERE, and they weren’t even trying to hide it; I felt so uncomfortable. When Tonex got up to perform, he stood on the stage like a diva and started doing Janet Jackson dance moves…I immediately headed toward the door. The sad part about the whole experience was the so called Christians that were in the building seemed to be soaking up every part of the performance…they were cheering/rooting him on. I have been praying heavily for the gospel music industry, and I implore everyone to do the same…this foolishness has got to end.

As for Tedd Winn, He is a flamboyant homosexual. A real man would have come out and said “As a man of God I do believe that homosexuality is a sin and against God”. HANDS DOWN!!!!! To be honest with you, whether he said it or not, HOMOSEXUALITY IS PERVERSION TO A GREAT EXTENT and it’s so great that it causes God to severely judge a nation or city or society. Let’s go back and look at this thing. Soddom and Gomorrah were both destroyed for it. Notice in the account of the cities, that the minds of ALL the men in the city was so great that they ALL wanted the “booty” (if you will) or backside of the angels that they thought were men. The KJV says that they came from every quarter of the city, young and old. So you see this is a reprobate state of mind and it’s one of the final judgements before the final judgement on a people that has rejected God. He gives them over to a reprobate mind and allows them to see how depraved they can get without His Hand being on them to stop them from such things. So you see, even though Lewis’ choice of words wasn’t necessarily the greatest or politically correct, the truth behind it was dead on. You need to read Romans chapter 1:18-28 after reading the account of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis. When I did this and studied it line by line, the Holy Spirit truly gave me revelations to the whole gay thing and how it is a judgement before the big judgement and how when you see it flourish in a nation, city, or society, you are soon to see God’s wrath on that place. Even if you don’t look at the Bible can look at Rome before it fell. The politicians had little boys that they’d basically molest and turn into “women” and they’d have orgies with men and boys. This sin was so great that God brought down judgement and ended the Roman Empire as it was at that time. Now we see Rome returned but as a religious figure as the horrible and non christian Catholic Chuch. May God give you wisdom and revelation and if you’re gay, deliverence along with the rest.

Yeah it’s huge in the schools. When I was in college I had a conversation with a high school girl and she was saying how she had to nearly fight dykes in order to prevent them form harassing her daily. Because they wouldn’t respect a “No” unless she fought to keep her heterosexuality. Some years ago I read an article about a high school girl who told her friend that she wasn’t lesbian and rebuffed her advances and stopped being friends with her. The lesbian friend became so distraught that she brought a gun to school and killed the girl. There was even a case in a middle school where most of the girls had more sexual contact/relationships with other girls than with boys. The reality and dangers of lesbianism is rarely preached against or even acknowledged by church leaders or by men/women in general. It’s usually just swept under the rug and ignored as if it doesn’t exist. Most women in America are on the Down Low and as a guy looking for a straight woman it’s very rare to find. It’s even harder to find a straight woman whose against lesbianism or homosexuality. The CDC did a survey of 12,571 women, in which all women were interviewed in person. 90% of the women considered themselves homosexual but of this percentage 65% has had sexual relations with other women. Then when you add in the women who openly claim bisexual, lesbian, other – the percentage whose had sexual relations with other women jumps to 71%. The survey didn’t include jailed; imprisoned or women in other types of institutions, which would have made the numbers even higher.

I think what really defames this “after party” is the fact the Tonex is involved. I will say that I know for a fact that the host and organizer of this party is a huge Tonex supporter and has been supporting him from the very beginning. But what throws everybody and everything off is the fact that a couple of years he flamboyantly came out of the closet; clearly and without reservation. Now I believe that God can give 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th chances and I believe that people can change, but what these “artists” have to understand is that when you’ve been caught out there you need to sit down, take a break, and have someone REALLY minister and pour into you so you can truly be restored. You may even need some intense Christian counseling sessions. I don’t know if he has done this. I don’t even know if he regrets all the things he wrote and posted and even said. But I do know that if he really wants to be restored by the people then should have issued and apology or a statement saying that he is no longer this way or he’s strayed away and now he’s renewed. But he hasn’t and he’s sending people (especially young people) mix messages. How can you pour out to the people if you have nothing to pour out except brokenness and confusion. If you have been caught out there then before you can minister to me you need to get YOURSELF together. Because I don’t want what you have if you have not been completely healed, and healing does not happen in the limelight. Counseling and restoration does not happen on the stage. So as far as I’m concerned Tonex is an openly gay individual, because he hasn’t said any different. And because of that it defames then entire event.
As far as Ted Winn….you noticed he NEVER did answer the question. He didn’t even say “I personally believe as a Christian that marriage is between a man and a woman, but I don’t believe that the gov’t has the authority to tell people who to marry”. Now I could respect that A LOT better then what he said. He said in a very political, beat around the bush kind of way “I believe that it is ok for 2 men to be together, even though Christian principles goes against this belief”. Wow man…if you can’t proclaim the gospel, how can you sing the gospel. The gospel industry has become just a place where people who can’t make it in the secular market come to become rock stars. The line hasn’t been blurred it’s been erased. And homosexuality is running rampant throughout the church and this spirit is becoming more and more bold. To the point where people who may not be gay feel like they have to act effeminate to be a part of the industry. But the danger in that is homosexuality is a spirit. And if you keep playing around and hanging homosexuals you could begin to walk in that same direction yourself or begin to believe that it is ok to like that. What profits a man to GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD…and lose his soul!

I have to say that “yall funny”….something I say about people that try to justify their bad behavior.
See what many of you don’t know is that I love the Lord, and His ways. I live life in my truth…but none of you saw that or bothered to inquire, you just seemed to want to make it ok to go on the attack….I don’t presume to win this war of words with you all nor would I, that’s not for me to do.
But hopefully one of you will look at how words can hurt and yes even kill. There are people all over the world who are ending their lives because of words that have been spoken to them much like the ones spoken on this blog…I’m simply saying stop and think….what would Jesus do. (Something so many of you presume to know)
Everyone who knows me and the way I have been taught to live is to always welcome conversation and yes even controversey and diversity. Because in that we learn something we may or may not have known and that helps us to be better people.
No one on this blog has said anything that I haven’t heard before including the scriptures…I understand your points of view accept them as yours but that’s it. Am I lost….many of you may say yes but I’m not responsible for that…..I think no. I have been Blessed and will continue to be so partically because I take the time to listen and to hear. Compassion is a way of life for me, I fall short on some days but the beauty of life is God may give me another day to get it right.

I personally don’t know to much about this story.. I jus tune in to this by accident..And my playr pause in mid wayz of the video..So I really didn’t gt a chance to really view it..And I don’t knw who this person Kevin is but I’m familiar w/ Ted Winn music..Bt anyway ..@ the lady tht ask kevin which door he came through!! Mainnnnn.. I had to really pause and type ..And I wasn’t really planning on typin at all..But this lady here iz trully a vessel /messenger..Through out her reading aswell as sum others on here..waz deep tht makes u think..period reguardless of your lifestyle..Becuz u can be tied up bond up in other devilments aswell but me personally I view it as wrong and personally view it a wrong choice for my kids.. @ Kevin, our job as christians is to warn the body of christ when we face destruction, if we do not turn away from our sins and repent. We are not verbally assaulting people, we are warning the body of christ. Just because you are open-minded about certain things that does not mean that GOD has the same opinion. Isa. 55:8 says that god ways are higher than ours, his thoughts are higher than ours. Please pick up your bible and study and pray that you are guide by the holy spirit. If you take the time to listen and hear you would not say some things that you are stating. Please keep in mind that we do not hate you or verbally assaulting you, we are just standing on the word. I don’t know you but I can “Love” you enough to tell you that according to the word of God, your way of thinking is WRONG. The sin of homosexuality is wrong. It’s an abomination in the sight of God. (Leviticus 18:22). There’s no other way to slice it, dice it, fry it up and cook it. I’m giving you truth because I love you and I care about your soul and it’s what God commands to be done (telling you truth). What you decide to do is on you thereafter, but at least you’ve been told. I don’t have to actually know you to love you. I’ve never seen Jesus and I love Him. I’m not perfect (nor am I gay), but I am forgiven. I’m grateful for my salvation and know, that it’s nothing but God’s grace and mercy that sustains me when I mess up. Don’t be fooled you ARE important to God. He doesn’t desire you to be lost but that you’d come to repentance, but He’s serious about what He says. God is NOT a liar. He’s a Holy God and we who belong to Him are to be Holy as He is Holy. I pray that you will come to know Him for yourself through His word and that He would put the perfect laborer in your path. I’m reaching out to you because it’s in my spirit to do so. As far as what would Jesus do? If you study His life in the scriptures, Jesus said what He had to say and kept it moving. It didn’t matter if the “pill” was bitter or not. The truth is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. But yet, the truth can also heal. The only time He became confrontational was when it came to His Father’s house.
What’s really sad, and here I go again with TRUTH… Some people (especially those who allegedly claim to follow Christ and I won’t say Christians because hopefully they wouldn’t be foul enough to exhibit the same behavior that the world does in ridicule, name calling and etc). There are people who would prefer to condemn others “publicly” (yes, in blogs too) for what they themselves do “privately.” Yes, it’s tight but it’s right – it’s called Truth! Sin is sin and it all stinks in God’s sight. People attempt to ridicule and expose skeletons in closets when they’ve got a whole graveyard in theirs. Yet the bible says in 1 Corinthians 11:28 says “let a man examine himself” (communion was being spoken of in this passage, yet the meaning still applies – Check yourself!) And no, I’m not taking scripture out of context and for those who think so, I’ll use another example. The woman who was caught in adultery and brought to Jesus. She was caught in the act of gettin’ her groove on, the dude wasn’t even brought, perhaps he got $200 and went pass go, I don’t know BUT the only one brought to Jesus to be stoned was the woman. And Jesus said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” And they didn’t because they were convicted by their own consciences. My point, a lot of folks with the ridiculing comments, should check themselves since they’re throwing stones. God sits high and He looks low and He doesn’t miss a beat. There’s truth and then there’s ridicule. See Christ isn’t like that. He didn’t come to tear you down or make fun of you, He came to set the captives free! Now this is the love that all christians should show. I have been reading through this website and I have to say it has definitely blessed me. But I do notice that some christians can be very cold hearted and judgmental toward others. God said we are to judge the act so that we can hold them accoutnable, not the person. Yes we are to speak the truth, but we are to love as well. The way some christians act PUSH people away from wanting to know God, because they feel if this is what this religion is about, cutting people down and making them feel like trash, then I want no part. I dont think you could have worded this any better. Yes we can speak the truth, at all times. But we are also to show compassion and show them the love that Jesus has showed us(or as close as possible, because none of us measure up).

I do not condon homosexuality, I personally think that it is an abomonation in eyes of God and I think it’s disgusting personally……but we as christians are to minister to peopleand help them find their way back to God. If all we do is cut people down and convict them but never share with them the love Jesus has for them if they repent then we are pushing them away. The devil is out to confuse us and keep us distracted from learning God’s word…..we as christians should not contribute to that. We are to minister to the people…reading these posts, these people speak the truth because they speak the word of God, but I think its all in how u say it. Kevin I don’t understand why you and others believe we are being hateful because we take a stand on the side of God. If you heard the scriptures apparently they did nothing for you because God’s word is clear. No one on this site is spouting hate, but are exposing the truth that many of “God’s people” have lost site of.
If this site and any others offend people like you and Malik, stay off of them, stop commenting about them, and start your own “way of thinking: blog site and have a party with your own words. Christians cannot afford to be lukewarm when standing for God and his word. Either you love him, or you don’t.
In loving God you must correct the wrongs of your brethren. Those whose minds are not renewed by the word will always contest what those whose are believe. Either you are on God’s side or you are not, there is no in between.
The word says if your right eye offend you, pluck it out. If this site and the comments offend you, remove yourself. just a little insight…I know many of the parties involved in the “party” including Gerard Bonner. I cannot defend him, nor his party, and I will not. I have had issue with him having Tonex there and I have actually spoken up about it. The only thing that I do want to say on this post is that there are actually artists involved who are not in fact homosexual, do not live a homosexual lifestyle and are actually about Kingdon business. I hope that you all do not hold totally against them if you see them in the future the fact that they were associated with this event. Let each persons ministry, each person’s “fruit” be what you judge. I am in the entertainment industry and I know some of the hardships (no pun intended) that some of these artists go through in this type of event.
As far as Ted, Tonex and Gerard Bonner I think you can make decisions on them based on their actions, but maybe, just maybe, we can hold off on some of the others. I know that if I was not a gay artist, I would be on the edge of considering this libel. I am sure people are going to be angry at me for this post, but I really just want to make sure everyone is basing things on love. I respect the article and actually agree with it, but I also feel as though we are broadly making opinions towards some of the artists and they are unable to defend themselves. Shalom

Shirley Ceaser has been singing and preaching God’s word for soooo long. My mind is having a hard time grasping her Great Falling away when our Lord is so very near. Tonex wants success (secular) and if he is not ready to submit wholly over to God then he has (deceptively) said to himself, I am going for the full package. I will remain a homo, I will be successful, I will be worshipped and admired and loved by all. satan can give him this and more quickly through the homos. However, life and death is from God…… He is not guaranteed to live to see that level of success that his flesh craves. This is all my theory of course, but in looking at it this way I am able to see how truly deceptive satan is. I cant help but want to pray for him, but then I remember when God began to draw me….. it was awhile before I said yes Lord….. again, You can die in sin trying to wait for what your flesh desires and be lost. Ted Winn made comments that made me want to reread over again Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I literally saw the word of God manifest (revelations too). Pastor Lewis, they should apologize to you…. but that would be a sign of repentance(which we want) and we all know that is between them and God. Kevin, Prayerfully God may allow them that opportunity he offers so Graciously to us all to repent and be born again of the Spirit and Water, maybe God will allow them to go soooooooooo far until we no longer even discuss them and then it may/can happen and to us believers that would be like raising the actual dead…..pun intended! May God extend yet more mercy and Grace to them (as they choose to blatantly deny him daily) for them to say yes lord I receive you as Lord of my Life, we repent of all our sins, we were dead wrong, forgive us Lord!!!!!! that/this is what I am praying for……… if death comes first……. i switch my prayers to you all that are being deceived with them…. may God lift the Spirit of Blindness (and Dumb) of you.

Thank you Pastor for everything you have done with the ministry God through Christ Jesus has given you. I have been fed on numerous occasions from the website. I look at this and say that God is truly separating the sheep from the goats right now! There is an elect that will not bow to this. The industry is swallowing people whole, but in reality it is just sin from the flesh that is doing. If these are our brothers and sisters truly then I pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them and transform them putting them back on that Jesus meant for them. I think these are basically the signs of the times. A friend had emailed me a link to a music video by a black popular singer and music artist Marsha Ambrosius called “Far Away” on youtube.
I was quite shocked and surprised that this straight black female who seems well cultured and educated dedicated a whole song and music video about a black gay couple. But given the influence of the gay agenda in media and the music industry, I am not surprised.
If there was ever a time for your children to to not watch BET, I think the time is now. I don’t know if that video is on BET or not because I don’t watch that crappy station.
If you see that video your hearts will certainly be grieved. They even had the nerve to put a representation of the single mother and her two kids in the video making the mother to look like one of the bad guy and bigot.

I’m very grateful to EX Ministries for exposing these things!!! Tonex uh B. Slade slipped into my city in December 2010, and he didn’t even tell the saints!!! Out the Box really showed he was having identity problems with holiness. I now know why I was having mixed emotions about the state of gospel music today. They are more concerned with promoting themselves(like their secular counterparts) than promoting the Messiah. I still love gospel music, but it seems I may have to pull out the crates with my old albums in it to actually here “the message”
On another note, Pastor Lewis, how much do you know about the 5% Nation? I grew up when it’s influence was very strong on our community, many of my friends were Gods or Earths. I still have original lessons that come from the Nation of Islam, of which the 5% Nation is an offshoot. I still remember the buzz about all the changes that were to occur from their prophecy on the year 1984. They had to change when the prophecy didn’t come to pass……Hmmmmmmm they were and still are heavy influences on the music and club scene….what’s righteous about that? Again, Thanks EX Ministries!!

Every pastor that had tonex at their church should fall on their knees and repent and then email EX Ministries and apologize! They refused to hear me when I told them in ’98 that this was his plan. Bishop Young in Ft. Worth had tonex several times even after he did his cussing and stuff on youtube. He should be fired for exposing his young people to this kind of debauchery! Bishop Waggoner in Youngstown Ohio who is dead now, actually forbad his congregation to come hear me speak because of our message against Tonex’s plan. I.V.Hilliard, cancelled my engagement and brought Tonex instead of me, because of our message against him. Shirley Ceaser recorded a song against EX Ministries with Tonex and she should apologize! These men, and many others, should all apologize, and send a financial seed to EX Ministries for trying to warn the body of Christ with them standing in the way. They got in the way of God trying to warn his people of this stuff and need to repent openly and honestly if they still have a conscience! When will men hear God and not their own flesh? We are in a sad day.

Once a person has been given over to a reprobate mind, as many of these individuals have, it’s hard to see the forest for the trees, actually impossible. Without the Holy Spirit guiding us, we will be unable to tell wrong from right because we will be guided by what feels good (flesh), not by what, or who is good, which is God. Like the Word says, we have to master sin, before it masters us, and it will if we let it.

As a matter of fact, there is a very prominent church I used to attend when I was stationed in Phoenix, AZ (over 5 yrs ago) that invited Tonex to their church approx 2-3 yrs ago and I was quite horrified about it. But when I look back and remember some of the things I’d seen during my last 1 1/2 yrs there, with the revelation that I now have, I know that it’s not a surprise that they would invite someone like that there. It’s very sad that so many pastors are really hirelings and not the shepherds that they are really supposed to be, over their flock.

OMG, that title! I just had to shake my head, you all are crazy. Then I look at a picture of a busted, big rusty knee and ashy ankle man with a broke down quick weave and some ugg boots on and I bout fell out!!! I just *CANT* with this today, I cant deal. As i was finishing up my degree, the university I attended had a LOT of young homosexual men. Why is that? We send our sons to college and what is happenng while they are there??? I know I’m going off on a tangent so let me reel myself back in.

I hear ya though Aisha. As a young, single, educated black female myself it is VERY frustrating to see all of these brothers out here who are SOOOOOOO lost it ain’t even funny. So many of them are either thugs, in jail all of the time, unemployed and lazy, or gay as the day is long, or on the DL, hence all of the STDS and AIDS running rampant. I am so sick of it and when I was college too I saw so many young brothers who were smart and attractive, but were gay. It is absolutely ruining our communities and what are our leaders doing about it, SUPPORTING IT!!! Idiots like Obama and Al Sharpton are advocating gay rights, while the only thing Jesse Jackson can do is criticize others trying to puff himself up, and the NAACP is basically doing nothing but a bunch of talking. It also doesn’t help that many of our young black men don’t have any positive role models because most of their fathers aren’t home to show them how to be a man, so they have to learn it from their moms. With all due respect, a woman CANNOT show a boy how to be a man, he needs a man to do this. I think that’s why there are so many freaky guys nowadays, they haven’t been trained in the way they should go, and we are reaping so many problems from that. It’s really quite sad!

I’m just get disturbed in my spirit when i see the homosexual agenda being pushed by so called men of god. Im seeing it now in the high shools where the young boys are wearing lip gloss, female boots, and openly saying they love men and then go to church and sing in the youth choir. Nobody says or does anything to help guide these boys. Pastors today seem to have lost that Father spirit to cover and reach these kids.
(I’m bouncing subjects.) Also it seems to be a push of demonic movies within the past two years. Usually its during halloween now its beginning a steady stream such as movies like The Rite, Season of the Witch, Last Exorcism,etc and they are really advertising them strong to the point of you can tell its strategic. Just this week i read in a newspaper about real witches in romania putting a hex on their governent. All i’m saying is we gotta prepare for war. We gotta get the sins out the church by getting the sins out of our lives. Just like in the natural. To be a soldier they gotta get the (nasty civilan side out of you) so when its time to fight you can be effective. So it is in the spirit we gotta be washed with the blood of jesus christ to be effective soldiers for the kingdom.

I bought Tonex’s “Out of the Box ” cd a few years ago (i should have known …the title) and I feel like i need to get rid of it. I remember G.Craig mentioning that he use to collected the secular cds when he first came out with TTBHH and destroy them. Are we now doing that with “Gospel” ARTIST CDs”?? I don’t listen to Tonex now but I was a fan of his gift. Wow it’s like a contagious disease this “death style” they choose to live. Sad to see him go so far B. Slade??? And That line-up does look a little suspect but I have a few of those artist albums as well. Are they all on the fence?? I am still praying for a stronger gift of discernment. Pray for me.

My husband bought Tonex’ Out The Box a few years ago too. I was listening to it and heard him say “masturbate” in a broken-up way and I was like “what the HEAVENS?!?” I played it for my husband and he took it out of the player and tossed it. Nuff said. Tonex is gifted, he has decided, with satan’s help, to play on the near-reprobate team. You can pray he repents, and I hope all of those artists do, but he has no hope of heaven unless and until he does. Neither does anyone else who denies JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR. These people are not playing: They are making evil a very attractive thing to those who are straddling the fence. And they are successful at it. We as Christians need to reconnect with the CHRIST we say we serve, so that HIS grace and truth can be more effectively revealed through us. Stop saying, “JESUS, I need more of YOU.” Start saying “JESUS, the world needs to see more of YOU…through me. Let me die so that YOU may live!”

As plain as day it says that Men who sleep with men will not inherit the Kingdom of God. They won’t even be able to enter as they are considered sexually immoral by God. Therefore, why would I condone such behavior, however I do not judge nor mistreat gays because they are people too. I just pray that they may be washed free of the affliction of being gay. They are welcome to enter the house of God (church) but they gonna leave changed if they take Jesus Christ in their life. Cause with Jesus, you go in one way, but you gonna go out anther. And this is from my heart that I write this. God bless you all for reading this and if you are gay it is not too late to repent. Jesus still loves you and so does God. He wants you to enter the Kingdom. He wants you to have your inheritance. He loves you unconditionally. Repent and you may have your destiny.
