I understand I am responding to an archive, but I attended the Potter’s House for over 10 yrs. During those yrs. God gave me dreams about Bishop Jakes. I did not understand them until now. They all come together now after listening and reading what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you. I have had dreams about Canton Jones, Tyler Perry, and many other celebrities in the entertainment industry like Lil Wayne, DMX, Genuine, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Tye Tribbet, Nelly, 50 Cent, 2Pac, and others. I had these dreams before I knew about you Pastor Lewis and Ex Ministries. God is bringing it all together for me. I no longer attend the Potter’s House. I am in search for another place to worship Jesus Christ. But I honor your boldness and reverence for our Lord and Savior. And I thank you.

I’ve read enough, these lyrics glorify the flesh and the things of this world. There is nothing good about this song as a whole. You will know a tree by its fruit. Bishop T.D. Jakes, examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. You don’t want to be one of those told to depart for not knowing Jesus.
I cant say TBN is anti-christ because they do bring wholesome teachings. Its just a field like anyother and dont forget God said he will allow tares to grow with the wheat. So because tares have sprung up we cant call it all anti-christ. Anyway 2timothy and 2peter are coming to pass in this generation way to fast. But before i Judge them i have to check myself because i can so easily forget about myself when i’m looking at them(they are good pple to compare with when it comes to self justification) all i can say is as long as these guys have life we are obligated to pray for them until God (through his mercy)changes them. Ezekiel9:4-6. This is soooooooooooooo sad that sometimes i lose sleep over these things. Not because of anxiety persay but i sigh for the ones who are blinded, who are deceived, who are blind because we did not choose to know these things but God through his mercy has revealed them to us through his Spirit. I am not preaching acceptance(God forbid!) but prayers of mercy
I used to listen to T.D. Jakes when he was humble and preached the Word, but all of a sudden he started hanging out with celebrities and the jet set crowd. He needs to go back to West Virginia and find his roots in holiness again, because endorsing secular artists is not right. That is why I rarely listen to urban radio anymore, it is just pure garbage. I would rather sing my own songs to the Lord than listen to Tyrese praising his womanizing ways.
There are dangers in social networking and in becoming famous. You can very easily fall into trouble opening up yourself to the secular world. Easily influenced people might be advised to stay away from social networking/fame.
I think TD Jakes was glad Tyrese is becoming a successful entrepreneur. Just like you would be glad for your brother or sister if their talk show succeeded. It doesn’t mean you support the doctrine, you are just glad that your brother/sister is following his/her dreams. The lecture of the believer should follow the congratulations though.

There are those who just “went”, and others who were truly “sent” by God to preach the gospel. I believe Bishop Jakes was truly sent by the Lord to be a blesssing to the body of Christ. And yet, just as King David took a horrific turn somewhere along the way, when he sinned with Bathsheba, so has Jakes as he’s seemingly embracing the world. Though God chastised King David sorely, the Lord did not remove King David from the throne. I pray that God will bring Pastor Jakes back to his foundation by any means necessary, before it’s too late. Like it or not, even God has said He is married to the backslider. Ppl please pray and FAST for our dear brother instead of throwing stones. If you’re unhappy about the things you are hearing re: the Bishop, then condemn his ways but be careful not to condemn the man. For what it’s worth, Pastor Jakes has been such a blessing to the body of Christ. I would hate to see the Bishop gain the whole world and lose his own soul. The reason why TD Jakes is congratulating Tyrese for having the number 1 album is found in verse 1,paragraphs 4,5,&6. The cash and the black card is what he is coveting. Tyrese aint saved and now he is thinking it is okay to be worldly and think he will still go to heaven. The clock is ticking fast for these last days.
TD Jakes and many others have what I like to call the LOT syndrome ! Remember when Abraham and Lot parted and went their own ways , the Bible says that Lot pitched his tent toward Sodom ? We all know what happened then . Lot had become consumed with Sodom and Gomorrah . He didn’t pitch his tent in Sodom, but towards it, and look at what happened ? Saints we can not be so naive to think if we play around with the things of this wicked world that we too wont be sucked in ! Jakes has been pitching his tent toward the world for some time now , and now has been sucked in just as Lot was sucked in by Sodom . This is why its no surprise to me , because the longer you lust after the things of this world the more you become like it , and the more you want . And eventually if their is no repentance it will be too late ! Remember , lets not just talk about what Jakes is and isn’t doing . but pray for him as well ? Remember this could happen to any of us if we let our guards down and start compromising !

In order for Bishop Jakes to truly minister the gospel to anyone he must first come into the Kingdom himself! With the Holy Scriptures clearly defining the qualifications and duties of an elder, which is what a bishop is supposed to be many including Jakes show that they are not lead of the Spirit, but by a spirit. 2 Peter 2:12-20 KJV

Deception is simply a lie believed and received. Jakes and all the rest of them like him KNOW what they are doing, it’s time the true saints of El Shaddai need to bend the knees and prayer and rise up anointed to destroy the works of darkness.

As a former member of the Potter’s House, I often struggle with my experience there. I believe I learned a lot early on, but as the years progressed, the teaching faded and the focus shifted. It is incredibly secular now. Extremely glossy. It’s definitely a business, an entertainment business… the Spirit of God is no where to be found… and I sometimes question was the Spirit ever really there? You know, Satan can pose as an angel of light.
KT, you learned a lot from the reading of your bible while you were there and you learned some basic truth, twisted with some deception. I believe your thoughts are common to many who have left certain churches. As a babe in Christ you do learn a lot because everything is foreign to you but when you start to desire the meat of scriptures is when you run into trouble and often it causes you to see the previous errors that you had glossed over.

You hit the nail on the head! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read those particular scriptures, but God had to open my eyes to understand that he’s talking specifically about false prophets. For many, their destruction/fall will be public and they will receive judgement for leading souls astray/into unrighteousness.
God’s Word won’t return unto Him void, so while we know what the Word says about their end, I’m still praying that their eyes will be opened and that they’ll preach truth: repentance, obedience, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and living a sanctified life unto God. I’ve seen God change the hearts of pastors (even if it meant them losing their entire congregation), so I know He’s able if they’ll turn away from sin. However, for many of them, their eyes are so blinded (or they were never “called” in the first place) that all we can do is pray.
Amen, only God can take the scales off of their eyes and you said it right we still have to pray for them. And let us keep Pastor Craig and Exministries in prayer, for the enemy don’t like to be exposed. But we cover them under the Blood of Jesus. You can’t keep an burn covered for it won’t heal, the burn has to be exposed to the air to dry up and heal.
Pastor Craig is exposing the enemy so the person who is being used by him can maybe see the errors of their ways so they can be healed, delivered, and set free. We all have to pray and ask the Lord to search our hearts also to see if there be any wicked ways in us!!!!!!!!!

Romans 1:18 says the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Mr. Jakes is just a man and nothing more than that. The body of Christ really needs to stop placing these men up like they’re gods!!! There is only one man who deserves all glory and his name is Jesus!!!! We must pray for our lost brothers and sisters, that the scales on their eyes are removed. We can’t be distracted by this mess. T D Jakes is doing the bidding of his Financial Masters, is he not a Chief recepient of “FBI” Money
(Faith Based Initiative Funds). I have been doing research on this and since this program
was Activated during the Bush Presidency (Post 2001) very strange events have been occuring.
It seems like every Minister that has drunk from the Federal Coffers of this Program
has been intoxicated by the Wine of Compromise & Corruption.
The FBI is now called Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and it
main drive/objective according to its Manifest on the Whitehouse.org website is
to strengthen links between community and various Faiths.
I have noticed that every Preacher that has been a part of the Advisory Board (you
can only be an advisory board member for 1 year) has been key in spear-heading the
acceptance of “Homosexuals” & other religions.
Since 2001 from its inception over 10 billion dollars has been given to Religious leaders
from various faiths and the funds are mainly for Social Service Programs, but i guess
alot of the So-called Born-Again Ministers did not read the FBI document and it every evolving
charter but were blinded by the dollars they could get.
President Obama has just announced an initiative via the Faith Based program
to be started on every college campus in America to encourage all faiths/Social Groups be they
Christian, Muslim or LGBT to embrace one another and work together in Unity (See the Subtlety
of compromise and ungodlyinfluence).
If we are to look at all the Ministers that has been on this Faith Based Board
ie Bishop Charles E Blake,Bishop Vashti M. McKenzie etc you can see that there is a degree
of political pressure behind their compromising stands. T D Jakes was publically vocal
against the Faith Based Program at its inception but i guess when he became President Bush
Point Man for the “African American Penticostal community” he hushed his opposition down.
The Politics, Economics & Culture is blending and be merged together like one cloth before
our eyes in a subtle way. We must be alert & be discerning of the devils designs
in theses last days.
Sounds like One World Religion in the works. In these wicked final hours we can not allow the light to grow dim in ourselves. We must fight the good fight of faith and stand for righteousness alone, even if we feel we are alone. These false teachers, preachers and prophets are getting their earthly rewards right now, sorry to say it just isn’t worth it mans soul is worth much more than anything this world has to offer and hell as final payment is much too high a price to pay in the end. Hopefully any who are students of EX Ministries teaching will not fall victim to greed, lust, affectation and all the other devices satan uses to steal, kill and destroy

Has anyone ever heard T.D. Jakes address the concerns of the Christian people? Has he ever explained his views on endorsing secular people? Surely, he has heard of EX Ministries. I would think somebody in his congregation is like “wait a minute Bishop.” My mom and I were talking about this the other day. Surely God has some “covert operatives” in the midst of the “mess.” Those who truly hear from the Lord and are on assignment . I know we cannot be the only ones who see thru this. I mean Tyrese…congrats. And the naked women in the bed next to him…really? I would like to know if Jakes has ever spoken with anyone at EX Ministries. Or taken counsel from anyone for that matter. Everyone, no matter how “big”, should be accountable to somebody.

This is what we call promoting the unrighteous ways of evil by those that thought they are doing God good.They are compromising the word of God,Christ sat with sinners ,but he always tell them about their ways and condemn the sinful nature.Then if T.D Jakes is congratulating Tyrese for that sinful nature he his then a wolve in sheep clothing .God will deliver the righteous but he will reserve the wicked for the day of punishment.God bless your ministry for dedicating time and obedient to revealing this people that are leading Christian in the ways of unrighteousness .

When I see Jakes, he is a great motivational speaker, he is a psychological manipulator and one who arouses emotions but I don’t see God’s anointing with this man and he seems to be waxing worse and worse.
What REALLY hurts me, personally, with some ministers right now, is their apparent lack of discernment. They preach against this stuff, but KEEP condoning the ones who promote it, because of the good these folks do. Isn’t that what Adam and Eve did. Jakes does not preach the gospel, he does motivational speeches with a little scripture for good measure. Seriously if you listen to him his an empty cloud, his words are the same as Les Brown or Oprah no an ounce of spiritual health to be found. Sad to say his character is the draw, many follow because of the lust in their own hearts. Those who follow Christ must do so in spirit and truth! Every time I messed up or tried to mess up the Holy Spirit was right there advising me not to! When I was able to shut him out, close my eyes, ears and heart he still was there ministering to me any way possible even to the extent of telling me if I do it again I would die in that mess. We have to want to in order to do anything good or evil it is our choice and Jakes and his followers have chosen mammon over Christ and his love.

I totally understand how folks worship this man. If you lacked a father in the home, then this man confuses your emotional lack with spiritual things. You mix and merge your desire for attention, validation, and affirmation with church trappings. You try to replace what is missing with the words of this man. He preachers the same “you should be dead or should have blown your brains out for what you been through” message and all the hurting men and women flock to hear it. They thinks it’s God but it’s really the queen of heaven luring them emotionally. God doesn’t lure us emotionally, but he calls us by his spirit. And because TD Jakes does NOT use the spirit of God to draw, but uses the spirit of BAAL, people are drawn to him, not God. So, even when they pray, their prayers are based on emotions. Jakes is the most dangerous antichrist deceiver we have seen since Jim Jones. He is a bonafied illumanit devil that was sent by satan for this time. EVery man he has raised up has fallen. Every woman he has raised up has fallen. And yet, people still want to be with him, want to be like him, and turn their backs on the truth of God’s word everyday for this man. 2012 will be the year people will openly have to forsake God to continue with this man, and most will. Pray saints.
Not that you care, and not that you should care, but a lot of people will probably argue and try to refute this with all of there deceived might! Even still, I truly deep down believe what your saying, and to that I say A-men!
Well, this is no surprise to those of us who have the eyes to see what’s really going on. Yes repentance is needed but God doesn’t desire that TD Jakes continue in this way so let’s continue to lift him up in prayer. Let’s continue to ask that the fear of God return to many of these world renown pastors, preachers, prophets and leaders. God’s desire for them is that they turn away from what they are doing. God have mercy.

You’re right in asking us to pray for Jakes and ALL others (ourselves included that we’ll stay close to God/Jesus no matter what befalls us,and follow His Lead), but we MUST also remember that ‘they’ have to realize what they’ve fallen into, and go to the Lord for ‘themselves’ as well.
Mega churchism means NOTHING in the scheme of things, because “only what we do for Christ” and Him alone will truly matter and ‘last’. From Joel Osteen saying that “Mormons are Christians” to incidents like this one, the Book of Revelation is being fulfilled so quickly it’s really mind blowing to watch. God help and have mercy on us.
