Obama Reportedly Sends Letter To Gay Couple Congratulating Them On Their Marriage

A recently married gay couple from New York reportedly got a pretty big surprise over the weekend, when they received a letter from President Barack Obama congratulating them on their “union.”
BuzzFeed spoke with Matt Katz, who seemed somewhat perplexed at the reason for the belated message of support.
“I’m not sure why the letter got sent to us. Aaron and I were married on July 24th at Borough Hall,” Katz told BuzzFeed. “However, we had our wedding ceremony on July 23rd at my dad’s house the day before. Maybe word got out that we were outlaws for a day?”
Katz and his husband, Aaron Lafrenz, were one of the first couples to get married on the day same-sex marriage was legalized in New York. Some pictures of their ceremony have been posted on their Flickr page.
Obama has repeatedly said that he believes the issue of gay marriage is best left to the states. While he has spoken out against the Defense of Marriage Act and campaigned against the military’s anti-gay “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, he has yet to personally voice support for gay marriage. He’s instead said that his views on the matter continue to “evolve,” and that he’s “working on” his feelings about it.

That’s the rub, isn’t it? Taking out one system only to usher in another is not going to make things better. We need a true believer in the White House, instead we will see more anti-Christ/Christian beliefs, rhetoric and actions. Did you know that Joseph Smith had a prophecy that one day a Mormon would be president and when that happened the whole world would be “converted” to Mormonism and the LDS church would rule the world! Mormons believe this prophecy is being fulfilled right now. More Christians are calling Mormonism “just another Christian denomination”. This is a religion that believes men can become gods & rule their own planet/universe. That Jesus’ death provided salvation for everyone. That Jesus and Lucifer are brothers and Lucifer could have been the Savior if the committee of gods had chosen him instead of Jesus.
I’m not for Obama, but Mormonism and Catholicism are just as and maybe even more deceptive. I’m praying for hearts to be changed and turned to God in all levels of government. No matter who the president is.

The letter took so long to get to these people because it wasn’t his doing…It is so blatantly obvious that he is a puppet he has no thoughts and voice about anything until he is commanded to have one. Sadly, the next one in will likely be either just as bad, or even worse than our current president and administration. We NEED to pray more than ever before saints, as it seems the Catholic Church is trying to “join hands with” and infilitrate the Body of Christ, with their lies as well. God help His children.

I mean I’m not sure what else to expect; this incumbent has been disappointment after disappointment. This perversion has only been getting worse and the entire thing seems more a publicity stunt than anything else. Obama has done far worse and has done so in the past year. What we as Americans have done is elected a president that has virtually no interest in human rights and seeks to promote a global agenda that undermines the rights of nations. Obama claims to be a Christian and yet he does nothing to help Christians across the globe and if anything he undermines them. Everyday Christians are kidnapped, killed and tortured around the world . And some of these countries are even our so called friends; we have military alliances with them and support their regimes. However when it comes down to the rights of Christians across the globe to worship God freely, pray, read the Bible and go to church our president refuses to take a stand. We support Saudi Arabia a clearly anti-Christian nation and we support Egypt, while refusing to condemn its’ killing of Christians. Because some people are able to recognize the innate harm that homosexual behavior and abortion inflicts on their societies, this administration condemns their laws. The Obama administration has been completely deceived by Satan. The Bible tells them homosexuality is a sin. Their own statistics tell them that people are getting sick and dying because of this behavior. The military commanders are telling them that allowing gays to serve in the military is dangerous and unproductive. Individuals who practice homosexuality are by law not allowed to donate blood, because there’s no telling how many diseases they have come into contact with. From dozens of viral blood infections to parasitic intestinal viruses to bacterial infections medical science can’t cope with the spread of disease. We don’t have tests for all of these diseases. Individuals who indulge in homosexual behavior have higher mental health sickness than the general population. God advises us against sin both because it is wrong and destructive. Political correctness can disguise the sin, but it can’t disguise the destruction. Soon we will see perversions on a scale not witnessed since the old testament. Men in their sinful nature only seek to destroy themselves and the path our country is taking will lead straight to hell. Christians need to know the facts and stay informed, we must be able to defend our faith and explain to others why homosexual behavior is sinful.

Look, Barack’s feelings for gay marriage are not evolving, he has dived in full force. Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was not a state’s issue, but military, taking it domestic as well as world wide. Various states have military bases, therefore he is taking national steps to make it legal. But honestly, he is running for president again and since he is losing relevance amongst those who see that his change has not come unless you are gay, he will need the gay vote to carry him through. If you are a registered voter and not gay, he is not interested in helping you.

Umm, those weren’t quite his words either. I heard Obama’s speech to the congressional black caucus and the get in line part was added somewhere along the way (probably by the media), unless you are referring to another speech. That being said there were plenty of black people (myself included) who did not vote for Obama. As a black person there was a certain amount of pressure I felt from family and friends to vote for the first serious black candidate. But many of us discerned this mans spirit and looked past race and said no way do I want that to represent me as black person but more importantly as a God fearing, God loving person. So despite the fact the majority of black people may have voted for him, many of us did not and will continue to speak up, complain and pray!

It should not be recognized as a union first of all because the Bible CLEARLY shows that God made them male and female. Man and Woman to be husband and wife, how can a man have a husband or a woman a wife its ridiculous. That’s why I love Romans chapter 1, God puts its out there that homosexuality is a sin and should not be tolerated. When God judges he is justified because He has condemned sin (Psalms 51 vs 4). I believe Titus 1:15-16 … but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Ephesians 4:18-19 states that: Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness…..
