even before i was saved i did not like the idea of sororities etc. because certain people were “in” and certain ones were “out” if you did not have a certain look, money, clothes, etc. something is wrong with all of that. i never knew they did all of this but i am not surprised and i am sure it is worse than that. unfortunately there are people who will not get out, and will continue to join because of the benefits they believe that will come to them due to their affiliation with AKA, Deltas, and the like. they have weird secret handshakes that i saw them do, and it really bothered me.

People speculate but to give you the “real”. I was saved and pledge AKA and the holy spirit would not allow me to cross. I felt soo conflcted tormented the entire time. I finally dropped, praise God. I still had to be delivered from the soul tie and attachment. It’s very dangerous to even pledge, so if you have crossed over I believe you need serious deliverance. I assure you that you either aren’t saved or are under a heavy curse or both.
All of my aunts and cousins are AKA’s and none can seem to marry. The Lord revealed to me that they are under a curse and will never be marrIed.

You’ve got to be kidding! This is a prime example of how feeble-minded people can be that they would subject themselves to demeaning practices in order to be in a group/organization.
You know, I got an invitation to join a sorority on my campus without even approaching them. Just an hour ago I saw some of the fraternities and sororities actively recruiting new members. It feels as if some people are finally calling out this nonsense. This is why I went into the military and skipped college for years is because this is not a process that I ever wanted to be a part of. I never answered the email and feel that this sort of behavior is not for a free thinker. This video was just disturbing and proof that peer pressure lasts past high school for some. There are other ways to do community service and feel a part of some greater than yourself without humilating yourself, dig?
Where Do I begin this is so gross and gay. I don’t know how one of them or all of them did not puke. I guess I can thank God that I never joined any Fraternity when I was in college.

I went through the same thing when I was pledging Kappa in Indianapolis, I never crossed-THANK GOD. There are beatings that go along with this and all these pastors i.e. Freddie Haynes, Jamal Bryant etc that are apart of these organizations no good and well what they went through to join and then promote it to the youth and their members!

I think there should a truth about parenting series. What environment did these guys grow up that would make them want to belong so bad they would do something like this?
These fraternities have gone to far. I have been told that some of the blk fraternities have gone so far as to include GAY acts ( Sexually and Non Sexually) as a part of their pledge. Parents that are belivers pray for your childern who are entering into college and if your chld wants to be a part of a fraternity. Make sure to do a back ground check. And let your child know it’s not worth selling out to the devil just to belong to a fraternity.
Back in college I pledged a sorority, but I believe God kept me from ever participating or paying dues because he is not pleased with us pledging–and by the way that video is disgusting. Here is my issue though, there are still tons of folk that pledg, that lack understanding of the gravity of what their doing and their our tons right in Texas and Louisiana who’ve never heard of EX Ministries (I know because I just came back to the states to visit and discovered this.) Years ago, one of the ladies I pledged with denounced ever joining the sorority etc. and I didn’t understand, but I do now. G. Craige, how can you say that all those that pledge, who don’t repent from pledging will never see God. For those who are still ignorant, will they be judged on their lack of understanding? Does God’s grace not mean anything if those who believe aren’t aware that this is a sin? You can also be told something is wrong, but not understand why its wrong. This is a sincere and honest question. I’d like to hear some thoughts.
Hi kday, I want to comment here people can do things out of ignorance, curiosity or unknowingly. In this case pledging to Greek Gods is still a sin. Exodus 20:3. There are a lot of church going folks and Carnal Christians who pledge, claim Zodiac signs are into Horoscopes and Astrology,
claim Eastern Star and Masons. I know God’s grace is sufficient and will allow an individual space to repent, once they are aware that this is wrong.
Exactly…God’s grace is sufficient and God will allow space to repent…but ignorance is no excuse. I cannot go to another country and break the law and claim ignorance…it’s the same for God’s kingdom. If I never heard fornication wasn’t wrong, that doesn’t make it okay but God will allow me to repent. God said my people are “destroyed” for lack of knowledge…God has provided us an opportunity to learn of what He expects of us so there really is no excuse…there’s always some way to get a bible in todays society and read it. Christ said let your nay be nay, and your yes be yes…don’t make a promise. If you make a promise, isn’t that disobedience?
Let me chime in you all. i pledge a fraternity and had no idea then of what i know now. the grace of God is that everyone will eventually have a chance to repent. “space” to repent means that God will at some point reveal things to you about your life and choices that you didn’t know was wrong. God has often reveal things to me about people and choices, not just pledging, that I had no idea were sinful. But what I discovered was that he chose a particular time in my life to do it. Usually it was a time when he was calling me to a higher relationship to him. That being said, everyone will have a “space” or time where God will reveal. Then its up to us to make the choice.
I made the choice and no longer have any ties or associations with the frat. i have denoucned it for good.
Ishmael, exactly. What you say was it. I too denounced my sorority after finally allowing the holy spirit to reveal some thibgs to me regarding my involvement in the org. His timing was perfect. I had to be at a place in my life and confess to God that I was tired of the way things were operating in my life. God had been showing me things a long time ago but I was too blind to see because I was so “programmed” to believe we were helping the community. Nothing wrong with doing that, right? It was all wrong. God wasn’t getting any of the glory, the organization was. But at that time I knew I was a Christian and being a blessing to other but at the same time infuse God in this worldly mess we call “fraternity and sorority”. It want until I asked God to reveal to me was my involvement in my organization aligned to his word. Oh my Lord, God begin to manifest himself and began showing me things and pastor Lewis allowed the holy spirit to use him to reveal these truths to me. Being in these orgs is a stronghold. U have all these demonic tides that you aren’t even aware of. And claiming and believing you are a Christian makes it worse because you justify your decision that sororities and fraternities are ok because other Christians are apart and more specifically, pastors and bishops are still affiliated and actively involved in terms of their time, talent, and money to the org. But this is just of one Satan’s tactic. A lot of frats/sorors won’t get it and for ohers it will take time before they get it. its nothing we can do but just pray the the truth will be revealed about the demonic forces that’s disguising itself as an organization of “sisterhood/brotherhood and service”.
. apparently you have never watched tbhh, he went over what was wrong with pledging to sororities and frats and secret societies more than once so if someone watched it and still doesnt understand they really really really need to just leave the video alone and get before God and ask him to show them clearly.. if they dont repent they wont see God just like every other sin, and believe me, when someone, esp someone who claims to be christian is in this garbage and doesnt get out which means they havent repented, they wont see God. does the bible say none BUT the righteous shall see God, and holiness without no man shall see God, if you are in one state where speed limit is 75 and then go to another where its 65 but continue to still go 75 will you not get a ticket, ignorance doesnt save you. and those who are in it, def know because they are so busy defending it when nobody is bothering them, they have to know or they would go on and stop trying to force it on everyone else who never asked them, (i know because ive been through it even at church)

I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that it in my entire life. The vomit was coming up in my throat watching this, especially when the one guy was gagging. I wonder, how lost would a soul have to be to participate in this willingly? I just can’t imagine someone would do this and even pay to do this, to belong to a group of people that they really don’t even know. Common sense is completely thrown out of the window. I really feel ill right now. Even though it is no longer playing, I can see it in my head. This should be shown in all churches with youth approaching college. Better think twice.

I came across a site that talked extensively about the use of the egg in one of Lady Gaga’s videos (which I have not seen). . .but many of the bloggers agreed that the symbolism behind her use of the egg indicated the birth of the new era (a born this way era) and the fact that she is portraying herself as some type of goddess. So I really wonder who came up with the idea to use the egg in the hazing video and what inspired their thought process. I am sure it was some sort of demonic influence whether they realized it or not! What kind of legacy will these young men leave behind? Since knowledge has increased in the land we need to stay in tune to the devices of the enemy and ex-ministries has once again unveiled yet another plot of the enemy to keep us in bondage. Truly disgusting! I wish to share my daughter’s experience with joining a soroity. Coming from the west coast she went to college in the deep south and was fascinated with Fraternities and Soroities. So she pledged. Coming from a Christian home I continued to pray for her and tell her this was wrong. Two weeks before she passed away she called me and said “Mom I asked God to forgive me for pledging”. God is so merciful, Praise the Lord. However the Lord told me to go on a 3 day fast and I was to speak out against this at her funeral and if I didn’t their blood would be on my hands. I was obedient and the Devil was furious but it did open their eyes. Thanks Ex Ministries!

Thanks AJM, I’m sorry to say that I don’t know what is was exactly but her Soroity Big Sisters ran her like a slave all times of the night, they used her place as a storage with all of this Sigma Gamma Rho paraphernalia. Her little son kept having seizures. The last one he had (while she was alive) was a bit much. She finally cried out to God and repented.

How is it that all the people I know in the church can prophecy, prayer in tongues, and are “annoited” yet have not denounced their sorority or frat? I am confused on this. Their argument is they use their association to be a witness and have access to the people. Or they didn’t pledge like everyone else did. Can you be friends with someone in a sorority? I believe you have to denounce it.
