More people here have also noticed a couple of things, so as I read these comments, I proceeded to watch the disgusting crap. You can very well see illuminati symbolism all through out. Here’s some of the things I saw aswell: (1.) The 3 ring/finger hand signal as he holds the mic @ 1:31-32. (2.) The tight suit indication of homosexuality. (3.) The camera beams in on his crouch area (not to mention he has a special lighting on him as if he’s a god so you can really notice the tightness in the crouch). (4.) The choir frat stans/positions coming onto the stage. (5.) @ 1:31-32 PAUSE the video and you’ll see him and how he’s holding the mic, his mouth is wide open as if he holds it in an ORAL like position(sick, perverted and disgusting). and (6.) In the commercial for the movie a portion of the promotion is a young lady saying she thought she would never be anything, that the singing validates her life (paraphrase not verbatim) it touched me deeply that this is just more deception and hype sold to us as a whole and keeps those in darkness either in the dark laughing or simply laughing at us in the dark, shameful display stating I fear not God and don’t care about man, it’s all about me and how I do things.

I think that it is really sad….how Gods word is watered down….you can tell which Christians are really reading their Bible…or even spending time with God. Jthad, “how is gospel music supposed to sound”? Well, it’s supposed to “uplift God and Jesus” from beginning to end but in our society today, you very rarely hear God or Jesus’ name mentioned, mainly because too many are trying too hard to do the work of ‘The Holy Spirit’ (or so it seems). Kirk did mention the Lord’s name once or twice, but I also keep wondering about all the “worldy” dancing moves (what happened to real praise and worship, even if the world thinks we shouldn’t??) being performed.
The Lord distinctly told us to be ‘in’ but NOT of the world, but I guess some just don’t get it. I’m not condemning Kirk, just asking once again why so much ‘worldy’ stuff constantly being brought into God’s house (and old side of it too)? Can’t we win the world with the Holy Spirit leading us, without having to use the world’s tactics??? Will keep Kirk and the others in my prayers because we ALL need it.

It’s amazing what people will do to remain relevant, honestly. I can’t judge or say if Kirk Franklin was ever saved, but he clearly knows that this is wrong. There is something to be said about humility and God’s grace while spreading the word. But it does not involve fancy suits, world adoration or an unnecessary lavish lifestyle. In 2012, let’s get back to the humility God wants us all to have and make a choice to avoid this watered down gospel. God should be relevant and not the phonies.

I had to watch this video. Where was the gospel? Honestly I used to be a kirk franklin fan for years until 3 years ago. Now it appears that he does this all just for money. It’s a knowledge of self. Therefore using hip hop to reach people wouldn’t make sense because you’re taking God out of the picture and that means hip hop gets the credit. Its Gods job to draw others to him not us. All we can do is preach the gospel to others. Plant the seed and then the spirit will draw him/her. Although facebook is a secular website, its a social website where you meet people you know. That’s the purpose of facebook. It’s just like going to school, or work where you make the right friends or where you can create a right atmosphere around people. Facebook is not a self glorification/ false religion website that goes against the word of God. The problem is not facebook the main problem is the people you associate with or the people themselves that’s being ungodly.
Hip hop is not just a genre of music, it is a subculture/religion that not only teaches violence but also teaches Jesus is the white mens god and the black man is the true god. Just forgot to put the small g’s in the sentence.
