I echoe these sentiments, but let us not forget that there were five wise and five foolish virgins waiting on the bridegroom in the Jesus’s parable. It may look like the bride is not preparing, but when the announcement is made, it will be seen who was not preparing and who was waiting patiently in prepared expectancy and is the true bride of the Lord, Christ Jesus. Let us not allow what things look like determine how we look at our day-to-day life. Hold fast and be encouraged saints of the most high God.
Absolutely Leonard II! (Matt. 25:1-5 talks about the ten bridesmaids.) Let us definitely not forget the five (the remnant/the faithful few) who WAS READY; Amen! The oil is symbolic of the Holy spirit… that is the Helper which sustains us to DO THE RIGHT THING. Amen.
If I could also share a bit of the side-bar commentary in my study Bible that speaks on the “foolish” trying to borrow (vs. 8) from the “wise”: It simply says: “spiritual preparedness (the Oil) cannot be bought or borrowed. Our relationship with God must be on our own.” In other words, grandma’s prayers alone will not get us in heaven; neither will the sanctified spouse.)
The moral to this scripture is: BE YE READY!!

Well look on the bright side, the LORD is raising up some serious soilders for these end times and I believe the body of christ is getting stronger cause we’re starting to learn ALOT more as soooooo many things are exposed…we (the body) are taking to ALOT of truth like never before!

This is such a needed message Elder Lewis. Thank you for obeying God and for what you do for the Body of Christ. The hate is thick towards you and anyone trying to live this life the Bible way..but whatever! We just found out our pastor is leaving his wife. Our hurt is deep, but outside of prayer, it helps us so much that you and Ex Ministries is still standing “on the wall.” We listened to your True Church Perspective Broadcasts “Defining Ourselves in 2012″ Parts 1 and 2 and were encouraged. I’ve actually listened to them four four times now and was encouraged to be reminded that my job as an at-home mother and student is right where I need to be and I’m seeing the evidence just as you said in your broadcast. Seems like people in the Body of Christ are losing their minds..but not everyone. Christ is soon to return.. Thanks for helping all of us get ready for it.

I enjoy the messages that you bring Eld. G Craig Lewis. The first time i watched the 5th ttbhh dvd after i got saved it made me relize how the enemy is working and since then i have watched everyone of them and I look forward to this one too. I just wanted to know will you ever be in the Kentucky area.
Praise the Lord that we have the victory no matter how bad the world is getting. The Word of the Lord is all that matters to tell me how to live. Thank you Father for having delivered my family from the evil one! I will confess that until it comes true. I am not leaving until my entire family is saved.
