    Really sad… smh

  2. Elsie Marie Greene Says:

    Bound for whose glory?

  3. Warren Says:

Reality shows have taken their toll on America . Too many competitions. I guess God is using that too (not). Many in the church are looking to the left and to the right and not at Christ. They choose to be conformed to this world, and as it has been said by G.Craig Lewis they have heaped to themselves Teacher having itching ears. And they want what they want and ministers give it to them to keep them coming. When the church stared Marketing to raise funds and to gain members it opened the door for just about anything. Thank God it is being exposed.

  4. tawood Says:

    Simply, wow!

  5. Ash Says:

When I was young, my parents always told me that I was beautiful. I grew up knowing that I was and didn’t seem to think what others thought. It seems that everyone is looking for approval :( Its especially sad that this church is allowing this foolishness! So sad!

    • Me Says:

Growing up I was told that i was ugly and fat by my father, got called names by my mother and kids at school did the same with physical abuse in both catergories. But i never would play around with God. In my opinion no matter how a person was treated when they were young when they are ready to come to God they will do it ALL the way! If they want to come to people it will show thru fliers like this one. In my opinion, The only way to truely follow Christ is to fall in love with him. Then they will do any thing to make him happy and respect him for who he is.

  6. ME Says:

I’s not suprised…Either you a saint or your an AINT!!

  7. Meechie Says:

That event is a joke but it’s not funny….it’s just plain foolish and lukewarm.

  8. Mia Says:

It looks like a flyer for a club even. Not interested.

    • Janet Says:

Yes, I agree and you will have a lot of unsaved people going to this event, maybe by looking at the flyer.

  9. Kim Worthy Says:

    Ridiculous!

  10. lena Says:

as if we women don’t have a hard enough time already. we were taught not to mimic the world, not to dress like them , not to floss what you got. im 33 and im just now feeling comfortable walking in a church with out my clothing fitting tight and revealing myself without feeling like someone grandmother. i had to learn how to now be so out there, and now this. perverting what i was taught. perverting how young ladies are to carry them self with out throwing themselves out there. smh. now i not only have to stand up for me, but my girls who are also learning to be little young women.

  11. BT Says:

I am not surprised by this . First of all Jesus never called us Christians . Just because people start some kind of ministry using the name of Jesus does not make their ministry legit or from Christ . Many will come saying I am Christ (anointed) . Many will come saying have we not prophesied , cast out devils and done many wonderful works in your name , and I will say depart from me you worker of lawlessness , for I never knew you !
Many can claim christianity , but only few can say that they are a disciple of Christ . You will know them by their fruits !

    • rawfaith Says:

I agree, Jesus never called us Christians. Christian is only mentioned 3 times in the bible, twice in Acts and once in 1st or 2nd Peter. Believers were called Christians because they were being insulted and persecuted for their faith in Christ.

    • Pastor Ashley John Says:

Fully agree, I cannot understand why we not getting this right… Its clear in the word, clear….

  12. Taura Helms Says:

Any person who knows anything about modeling can smell a rat here. Anytime you ask for money upfront there is a hidden agenda. This is so Ungodly and messy. God wouldn’t ask a young woman to do this in His name. It amazes me what lengths people would go through to make money while abusing God’s name.

  13. Bensy Says:

So this is B g 4 Cabaret! It can’t be a ministry if its about modeling your sexy body….

  14. M.O.G Says:

    Expose, uncover,and reveal!

  15. Roberto Says:

Foolish and $25 dollars to register! That’s like half a tank of gas.

  16. Mrs. Prince Says:

this type of activity cannot and will not lead people to Christ…the only focus here is on the individual’s beauty, clothes, makeup, hair, etc not God…smh..I wish Christians would stop trying to conform and identify with the World. They have no problem doing worldly things..we need to boast the God that we serve through godly ministry. “The world is not subtle, why should we be subliminal?” Shai Linne-Taste and See

  17. Kim Says:

    Worldly things not of GOD.
Thank you LORD JESUS for Ex ministries.

  18. Standing Up 4 Holiness & God's Word Says:

B4G = Be 4 God. That is what they are expressing on that promotional poster.

  19. SeraphimChris Says:

I’m not that surprised any more, but it’s still bad to see things like this going on, and progressing to get worse each year.

  20. James Says:

How can a ministry promote vanity, pride, and lust as a way of life? Vanity, pride, and lust is a sin and that is what the fashion world is, a person can not serve two masters. If he loves the one, he will hate the other. The church is becoming corrupt more and more everyday. Eventually once the great deception begins, most of the church will fall.

  21. SeraphimChris Says:

Wow, I’m not surprised, but it still bother’s me to see this.

  22. MsCathy Says:

Just a quick observation…notice the two female models both have one eye exposed! Subtle symbolism in all things. Be alert at all times.

  23. Alex Isreal Says:

I had never heard of this ministry before, so I looked it up on youtube and
watched a montage of their featured programs. I was really surprised &
was hoping that I was not jumping to critical judgement based on their style.

However, I could not ignore what seemed like excessive posing. Then a photo popped up with a group of women in some particularly worldly poses. The words plastered over the group:” Demon-crushing Divas of the Kingdom.” It’s their “Chic Ministry”…smh.

Following that group, is the “M.A.F.I.A. Mens Ministry”!?! Mafia?! There’s also a “Swagga Ministry” for the youth, along with a Hip-Hop “ministry”

I will not forget the various photos of church members/attenders with whatever hand signs they were throwing that I will assume has something to do with the church (mimicking gang signs?)…wow.

Is this really working to effectively produce faithful, fruitFULL disciples for Christ?

Is it really possible that this method of “doing church” is creating lasting change? Can this example truly turn the hearts, minds and lives AWAY FROM THE WORLD and to the true Jesus Christ in holiness (without which no man will see the Lord-Hebrews 12:14)?

I know that God can do anything, but He has called us OUT of the world. Who will listen AND obey?

I pray that the people affected by this are genuinely saved and walking in deliverance. May the leadership of B4G repent and get the worldliness out of their church.

The souls in their care are precious, indeed.

  24. Dawidis (@DawidisK) Says:

The fashion show is going to start with a prayer! They’ll walk the runway on “Gospel Club Music”! Maybe we will get to see those models in decent clothes… Could this mix with the World leads someone to Christ? IDK! Rightly or wrongly, I give them the benefit of the doubt

    • L. Pernell Says:

The body of Christ shouldn’t mix the holy with the profane. Lefting up Jesus draws men unto Him worldliness.

  25. Jonta King Says:

Let me guess,we got gospel idol(sundays best),christian rappers using secular songs, americas next top church model,it seems as if now all the church wants to do is party, where is the true worship,is anything sacred anymore,be not conformed to this world, this makes my stomach turn,God gave us creativity,so to mimic what the world does, just to fill seats, makes me wanna pray harder.

  26. K SILER Says:

Look at the haughty, prideful and arrogant attitudes on their faces…and they’ll probably walk down the runway to “It’s the GOD in me”….and look at that title “Todays kingdom has a fresh new face”….smh smh.

Yea, Spoqen this is seriously the pride of life and the lust of the eye! I find Normally, that so called Christians who compete in programs like this think they’re better then people (whether they admit it or not), rank themselves in social status by their car and clothing, and you more then likely won’t catch them feeding the homeless( or doing any other work in the vineyard) and ONLY want to be involved in ministry if has something to do with entertainment (i.e fashion shows, model search, car show, gospel talent show..basically anything where there is going to be a judge that’s going to give an affirmation)

I love in Los Angeles, I know of plenty of worldy, double minded christians..I LEFT they church!! And PRAISE THE LORD, my mother finally LEFT Too!! (after I let her hear pastor Craig’s sermon “A time to leave’…) GLORY!

  27. TJ Says:

This is just pure nonsense. What does this have to do with the Kingdom of God, the body of Christ or anything for that matter instead of just making money and a fool out of people?

  28. Martin Says:

Decided to hop on over to their site first(I’m Canadian and unfamiliar with B4G). Let’s start the analysis.
“We do Church” – Church is more than something you do, it is what you are (part of). The church is a body and the bride of Christ.
And you would think that the pastor would know this when it says: “The vision is always given to the head (Pastor).” – hmm. There are countless biblical cases where the vision is not given to the head but someone else, and the test is submitting that vision to leadership so that it can be checked(verified). If a follower is unwilling to do so, it just might not be from God. Or a test has just been failed. BACK to the “vision is always given to the head (Pastor).” if anything it comes across as conflating various roles and responsibilities. Especially if you’re talking about the Kingdom of God.

The next several lines read from a badly put together contract. Can you spot the errors?
With our focus remainding to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ, showing his unconditional love. We will employ both traditional and non-traditional methods of meeting the needs of people through the use of, but limited to, evangelism, media, weekly worship service, outreaches, and crusades for all people of all ages, races and background. With consienceness of God and empowered by the holy spirit, all of energy and resources will focus on operation an example of excellence and ministry.

It wouldn’t be that bad except for this:
Our desire is to inspire others to maxiimize their full potential and achieve excellence in every area of their lives.
Not trying to be a spelling or grammar Nazi, but what was written above kind of destroys that statement. It’s like saying I’m on a great nutritious diet and then walking in to McD’s or BK and chowing down. That or I heard this great line when I was away and I want you to throw it onto the website too. When talking about the third person of the trinity the H is capitalized (just like I don’t belittle you by saying Tom, Dick and harry), when you don’t I start to wonder are you just a follower of Z (was going to say X, then remembered that X is “supposed” to mean Christos) or a son of Sceva?
Yes the worship music on the actual webpage is nice, but does it further mitigate this:
    Every 1st Saturday @ 7pm “Kingdom Chicks”
    Every 2nd Saturday @ 7pm-”M.A.F.I.A. Men’s Meeting”
Yeah I get you’re in Houston but COME ON! You are saying that women=chicks (doesn’t matter what you put in front of it it is still a pejorative) and that there is some redemptive value in seemingly naming your men’s ministry after organized crime.
So far this place where they “do” church is somewhat scary. Saying this as someone who visited the 7 churches. But the scheming for cash analysis? It may be accurate, but everything I saw on the site pointed to there being no more than 150 regulars. And if only 20% take part normally. and 90% of the population don’t take in things of that nature….they’ll make $675 and cost themselves even more as bad blood starts to flow. Even the excuse of outside judges won’t help. Again, makes me wonder about the pastor and where his vision comes from.

  29. DADE-COUNTY(FL) Says:

If I had a belt, I would go upside everybody’s head and knock some sense into them. This stuff is getting out of hand…

  30. Kelvin Says:

    SMH….that’s it

  31. RCooper Says:

We need models for church fans! LOL!

  32. Samantha Says:

That is some Mess!!! Why is this “ministry” promoting the world…seriosly! For all that is in the world is lust of flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1st John).

  33. Sis. Dee Says:

I’m at a lost… What does this have to do with the kingdom of God? Please let’s leave the things of the world in the world, shall we?

  34. winner01 Says:

I went to the website and to the videos that are posted on you tube. My prayers go out to this ministry . Pastoring is so much more than starting a ministry, It is a responsibility for sheperding those whom belong to the Lord. Sincerity is a noble attribute but it will not sustain any one who steps into Pastoring (sheparding) without being called into it by the “Chief Shepard” the Lord Jesus Christ. After Jesus was baptized, He immediately was sent out into the “wilderness” and went into prayer and fasting, then he was visited by the adversary and withstood Him through the Word of God. An individual especially in this day and age that is Pastoring better be walking close with the Lord, no matter how sincere they might be , sincerity will not sustain you when the enemy comes to sift you as “wheat”.

  35. Janeey Says:

    I love jesus

  36. Kenny Says:

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, for if any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him.

  37. BT Says:

If we are truly raised with Christ , then our focus should always be on things above ! Where in the Bible was their ANY ministry that sought to please self and the flesh ? You can not find it ! If it is not model search, and searching for the next gospel recording artist, its always something that christians are seeking for and it is not Christ and obedience to His word . Simple, this is true religion to love the widow and orphan and to stay UNSPOTTED from the world ! What foolishness

  38. Spoqen Says:

If this is not the pride of life and the lust of the eye, then I don’t know what is.
