I don’t agree with these rituals and I’m a Christian myself. I realize different churches have different traditions, rituals, and practices. I know some churches that practice lying prostate as a symbol of surrender to God. But I was confused about what was going on. But I also disagree with naming what happened as “gay.” What was going on in this video had nothing to do with gay men. This act would’ve been controversial had it been a man on top of a woman, a woman on top of a man, or a woman on top of a woman. It’s just inappropriate, period. It doesn’t appear that the church was sexualizing this act the way others outside the church are. So maybe there’s something we’re missing. But I certainly don’t believe that a gay identity has anything to do with it. If this bishop needed to express his so-called “lust” toward men, he could’ve done it behind closed doors. Why would he choose to do so in front of his congregants and family? If he was “gay” and in the closet about it, why would he risk his position as bishop? I don’t compare him with Eddie Long because these men are adults who had to consent to this ritual beforehand, and they evidently did not sexualize this ritual. I am open to hearing an explanation by this Bishop Jackson before judging (I let God be the judge). I do find this practice quite unusual. My church doesn’t practice this type of ritual.

Allegedly, this pastor compares his strange ritual to what the prophet Elijah did in 2 Kings 4:32-35, but that is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!! Elijah laid on top of a dead boy, face-to-face (mouth to mouth, hands to hands, eyes to eyes). Before doing so, Elijah cleared the room! There was no onlooking crowd. Elijah was not consecrating anyone for ministry, lol. He was calling on the God of heaven to restore life to the little boy. Elijah breathed into this little one’s face, simulating how The Lord God breathed into the nostrils of Adam THE BREATH OF LIFE (genesis 2:7). What Bishop Wayne T. Johnson did has NO scriptural basis. As I sat back and read everyone’s comments? I couldn’t help but think about my own church?!! Not to say that this is going on in my church….but I’m starting to see more and more homesexuals and lesbians in the church?! Just recently at my own church in California…this lesbian couple joined our church?!!! And at first I was like…well we shouldn’t judge?!! But at the same time….I was like I understand they need help but why would the leaders of the church allow them in the church….knowing the behavior and lifestyle they live?!!! And I’ve also seen this recently in other churches as well…..I dont understand but maybe this is something I should pray about?! I understand we all have faults but for those of us that are really trying its not fair?!!! There was also another young lady that joined the church the same day as the couple….and it seemed as though people were more excited for the couple then the other young lady?! Sometimes I just don’t understand things and I wish they were better but I’m going to continue to fast and read my bible because only the Lord can handle this.

the problem is this is going to happen more often as the church allows more and more people like this to enter. it’s one thing to allow a sinful person into the church to hear the Word that will convict them of their sins but it’s another to allow them to return week after week and not say ANYTHING! makes no sense! we are responsible for saying something in a loving way trying to have them see their lifestyle of sin even Paul speaks about a brotha in the church who slept with someone and the church did NOTHING about it. Paul told us to step up and not allow these things to happen or take place. a little personal note is where i live, there is a radio segment on the Christian station that from 5-6 each day speaks about the possibility of next year or the year to come of government trying to force all pastors to perform same sex marriages within their church. they are saying that there will come a time when people will think it’s unlawful and prejudice for a pastor to deny this service and the people of their rights to get married to the same sex…something to think about huh

I spoke with a Lady who left a church I once attended because they started allowing gays and lesbians to sing in the choir and play instruments. She was disturbed and went to God in prayer. Said God told her go to leadership and if they don’t hear you time to leave. They told her it’s a new day and they need to be more accepting. Needless to say she left. Will Ford shared something that’s VERY disheartening about the black churches about how God showed him that it was the enemy’s plan to put a homosexual at the helm of every major black mega church movement! It hurts me so because this ploy by the devil is an attempt to destroy the black family by destorying the black man! If anyone of you have sons, I stand with you in prayer for the Blood of Jesus to protect our young men. I do not have children of my own, but I do have 4 nephews and Lord willing, I will be a help meet to the right man of God and give birth to a son. Until then, it’s things like this that scare the bejeebies out of me because it would take all my strength not to strangle some sick jerk who was out to victimize any of my nephews and scar them for life! Did anyone notice that the presiding Bishop showed partiality in applying his rituals to these men? He seemed to prefer the younger man over the older and lingered on him longer. He also walked around him 1 extra time.
Not trying to get deep at all but i thought it was also very telling that he put the exact same mantel on both men. Would God not be able to put separate mantels on each man to suit their individual calls? Then he swung the mantel over the women in the front row. Was that a new form of “sprinkling”? That’s probably the same robe every other minister in his ministry was covered with and I bet none of them are led bythe Spirit but by this Bishop. Heis now their father.

Uh..what is this “preacher” talking about? He’s totally in error when he tells these men that “they have to die” during this weird ordination service. In Christ believers die to sin and are raised to walk in the newness of life (Romans 6: 1-4). So why would these guys have to “die” again? That “preacher” is way off, scripturally.

Well, first things first…the “bishop” told them that they “had to die”…if you truly follow Christ, you’ve already died to sin and are born again through Him. Secondly, I agree that it is demonic and masonic in nature because it resembles the initiation rituals when I was an aka (past tense, Hallelujah), especially when he circled those guys seven times. Thirdly, did anyone else notice how the “bishop” put the cloak over those two men as if he was Elijah calling Elisha into the ministry? A double portion of foolishness is what these new “bishops” will walk in if they don’t repent and turn away from that ministry. Lastly, why did it look like he was dry humping them when he laid on top of them? No one thought that was fishy? The men didn’t say “hey man! This is some bull! Get off of me!”?

However, even if the bishop was supposedly raising these men from the dead, he has out of order because he would be take the place of Christ, who is alone the resurrection. This is a very sad show of a fleshy ritual. Moses only needed to lay his hand on Joshua to show that the power/authority to lead was being transferred to him.
We definitely need to pray for these men, their families that they repent and seek God in humility.
