Jay-Z references a “rogue angel” watching over him?
December 13, 2010Jay-Z Talks About Shooting His Own Brother When He Was 12 Years Old!

In an interview with the UK Guardian, Jay-Z admits at least one of the scenarios is %100 fact. At the age of 12, he shot his crack addicted older brother over a stolen ring.
“I thought my life was over. I thought I’d go to jail for ever.” Hov said “It was terrible. I was a boy, a child. I was terrified.”
Luckily the bullet hit his brother in the shoulder and wasn’t a life threatening wound. When Hov visited him in the hospital, his brother apologized for stealing the ring and didn’t press charges against him.
In the interview Jay goes on to describe how prevalent guns were at that time in his neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. A problem that has only gotten worse in every hood across America.
“Guns were everywhere. You didn’t have to go far to get one. Just everywhere,” he said. “Guns were around every day. There were shootouts, but I never shot anyone else. Most people in shootouts don’t get shot.“
Jigga claims he was shot at three times, but never hit. “It’s like there was some rogue angel watching over us,” he said.
Lucifer was the rogue angel in heaven that led a rebellion!
Pastor Mark Driscoll praises Jay-Z on facebook?

“It’s a Jay-Z soundtrack kind of day. Watched his NY show this weekend – I know he says bowling words but man the guy is a genius”
This is D U M B!

This is a clip featuring Phil Driscoll rebuking “Twilight” just a few months ago. So where is the discernment regarding Jay-Z???

October 11, 2010Jay-Z is on the cover of this month’s Forbes. But the Miami Police Department still thinks he looks like your typical member of a street gang.
The department’s website is currently featuring a large mural-esque banner depicting five tough-looking characters, including one holding a bat and one throwing up a gang sign, and the plea: “Report Gang Activity”.
By our estimation, forty percent of the gang’s population is Jay-Z.
Here’s the Jay-Z photo the central figure in the banner is clearly modeled after:
Note the hat, watch, pinky, arm band, folds of the football jersey, and the guy’s face. The fellow on the left doing something gang-y with his fingers looks a lot like Jay-Z too, but we haven’t been able to find the source photo for that one yet. Update: Commenter “HipHopGame” has found the inspiration for the figure on the left:
Department spokesperson Napier Velasquez told Riptide he would contact MPD’s IT department to learn more about the origins of the painting before commenting.
Our question is this: Couldn’t they have found a photo of a real gang member on which to base their art? They are the police.
Update 2: While still refusing to comment, the Miami PD has removed the art from its website.
Jay-Z, Will & Jada prey on the youth?

Willow Smith, 9, signs record deal with Jay-Z
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Willow Smith, the nine-year-old daughter of actor Will Smith, has signed a record deal with rapper Jay-Z and her first single is already kicking up a storm on the Internet.
Jay-Z told radio host Ryan Seacrest in an interview on Thursday that he thought Willow had a superstar career in front of her based on her first hip-hop single “Whip My Hair.”
“I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine year old and I was like, man that record’s a smash,” the performer and record producer told Seacrest. “I believe in superstars. I believe on big records on superstars and I think she has both.”
“Whip My Hair” had been viewed more than 100,000 times on YouTube after just a day of being released.
“She has a child’s innocence but she has a clear vision of who she is and who she wants to be,” Jay-Z said, comparing Willow to a young Michael Jackson.
Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation said in a statement that Willow “has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious…Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”
Jay-Z, one of the most influential artists in the U.S. music industry, signed R&B artist Rihanna when she was a teenager. Willow’s distinctive lop-sided hair cut and debut single have both been compared to Rihanna’s.
Jay-Z brushed aside suggestions that Willow may be too young at nine years old to launch a music career.
“When you have that sort of talent, there is no such thing as too young,” he said on Thursday.
Willow, the daughter of “Men in Black” actor Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, follows her brother Jaden in an early start to a high profile career. Jaden Smith, 12, starred in the movie “The Karate Kid” earlier this year.
